About

Evergreen (she/they) is a creator of many mediums. Practiced in oil painting, poetry, wood/clay/metal sculpture, and music, she is passionate about creatively championing environmental sustainability and regeneration as well as social healing. She simultaneously engages functionality and logic, art and expression, nature-based personal health, and emotional and social wellbeing to work towards a healed Earth. Evergreen is currently based in Cloughjordan Ecovillage, Ireland, with roots in Colorado and Texas.

As a cellist, Evergreen has performed with the Eagles, Father John Misty, Rushad Eggleston, Chris Brubeck, Sarah Chang, and members of the Philadelphia Orchestra. She has studied in elite classical traditions, Afro-Indigenous Brazilian folk music, and is currently pursuing study in jazz and songwriting. Evergreen's debut album, "Delicious Vignettes of Recent American Kind," is a model of how we can eradicate elitism in academic and classical music. The album is available on all platforms.

As an artist, Evergreen’s work has been exhibited internationally, ranging from the west coast of Ireland to the mainland coast of Greece. She primarily works in oil paint, and particularly enjoys depicting scenes of ecological magical realism.

Evergreen's first poetry anthology, titled Life Doesn't Rime, is a peek under the hood of the artist's mind and is available for purchase here.

Evergreen is authoring a curriculum book on music as a global element of humanity, especially as it pertains to protest, creative expression, and the maintenance of oral traditions.

Evergreen is a certified yoga teacher, and is profoundly interested in mainstreaming curriculums of nature literacy for a shared cultural knowledge and awareness of a healthy Earth. She enjoys gardening, going on picnics, painting, biking, reading, doing yoga, traveling, finding waterfalls to swim in, and watching the stars; and she is always excited to learn something new.
